Between Power Pop albums, Farmertan follows up "Distant Cousin" and "the Softer Side" with an Acoustic/new old school groove sound EP entitled " close alternative" Suited perfectly for heavy rotation on Jamendo Pro, as well as for Movie soundtrack application, the band welcomes reviews and new fans.

Farmertan would also like to thank the Jamendo community for the reponse to its recent release of the album "Brace for the Decline" and the band looks forward to an early 2012 release of a new single for an upcoming full length album release.

This is the first album I've heard from Farmertan, and it pulled me in from the very first track. I especially like IGMFU, it reminds me a lot of U2. Keep up the good work!
