Listening to "Hymns About Her" really proves how screwed up the British pop charts is. Here, a pretty-boy Timberlake-wannabe can score a "fastest ever selling single" entry in the Guinness book with a song so generic and predictable, even a severely lame monkey could do better. Luckily, there's little chance Simon Cowell has any interest in Steven Dunston. Reason: this is thinking-persons music and not a disposable cheap-thrill. Melodic and amiable enough to make it entertaining, but listening to the words and how Steven phrases them along with the piano is nothing short of breathtaking. When I reviewed "To Get Home Before Night Comes", I noticed a lot of Steely Dan & Stevie Wonder influence - yet here, I still hear those influences to a certain point, yet there is a lot of the more care-free non-political side of Jackson Browne. Me like! The stripped down sound really suits the songs, making them intimate and warm. Again, the songs are short and numerous with faultless lyrics and melodies - it really makes you want to keep listening. I don't use this word often, but it's a masterpiece!

Après Costlow, Dunston, les galériens de la musique aux USA nous en mettent plein la vue! C'est techniquement irréprochable, pas une fausse note, pas une note de guitare ou de piano de travers, une qualité de son accoustique qui nous enfonce nous les frenchies galériens avec nos PC à deux balles, c'est net on n'est pas sur la même planète. Après si j'aime ... oui c'est obligé c'est doux, c'est bon, si j'adore... quand même pas : je préfère encore notre frenchy Jamendo touch avec les Talking Cure, les davidTMX, les TBLS, Lonah, etc... font chier ces amerlocs!

Ottima qualità audio. La voce mi ricorda un po' quella di Boublè, ma un po' meno limpida: è comunque molto piacevole ed è molto adatta al genere musicale. Congratulation!

Stimme und Musik die Gefühl ist. Nach Titeln wie „America“, „Northern Star“, „Piano Forte“ und und und … fragt man sich vielleicht wie man noch mal so etwas wunderbares erschaffen kann, aber bitte bitte mehr davon.

Apres Rob COSTLOW, en voila un autre, trop beau, des paroles superbes, tres douces, on sent de l'emotion, elle est palpable a chaque note. Piano is my Forte, certainement une des plus belles avec gravity, northern star, tonic and gin..en fait elle sont toute belles. Fan de métal dans ma jeunesse, je retrouve dans ce type de compo l'émotion, l'envie de transmettre au autres un sentiment ou une idée. America est une superbe chanson sur l'effondrement du reve américain que nous avions tous en tête, california, c sur qu'apres ça on a envie d'y aller.
