How I love jamendo. I am listening to music I would never before have given the time of day to.Sentiment brimming midwest American folk music being musical leprosy. This young German lady is an extraordinary talent playing her music, serenely, passionately and without pretense.Exuberant, refreshing, heart tugging music that is of the highest quality within or out of it's genre.Highly recommedned.
De bonnes compositions bien jouées avec une voix magnifique pour un album folk plus que sympathique. J'attend une suite à cet opus avec impatience.
A bientôt
Bon moment, agréablement accompagné.
Merci

Suerte y no lo dejes
This is my first review of a Jamendo piece. Cathleen is the artist's name. "Long Walk Home" is touching piece with a chorus that anyone can relate to. Nice voice this Cathleen has. "Taste Me" is soulful and moving with a nice instrumental balance. This sister has her heart in the music and it carries well. "You Pretend" is another tune of relationship awry with a southern feel to the arrangement. "Way Back Home" is a very pretty ditty indeed. "Fast Breaking" is a bit mundane and does not draw me in as the other songs before. Maybe a piece written early in her song catalog. "Maybe Someday" starts like a beer-joint crying song song and then lifts off the ramp. I especially like the percussion. This is another example of her great song-writing ability. Keep on keeping on Cathleen.
Beautiful music and vocals. Beautiful songs, but I hear a clear sadness in your voice. Yours.
Wunderschöne Balladen mit einer wirklich tollen souligen Gesangsstimme, die mir unter die Haut geht.
You have a beautiful voice great guitar playing this is a very well put together album.
Very Nice!!!
Deceivingly fragile, almost innocent occasionally, Cathleen's voice, is a heartbreaker. The songs are not blatant, but, little by little, quite effective. Enough melodic, to stimulate a first listening impulse, but far from just easy and shallow. One, or the other, may excel a bit more, upon one occasional listen accordingly to the state of the heart, but, I'd say that it's a fairly homogeneous work, with a general good level of quality and very pleasant overall. So please, country roads, take me home...
