Just about there... which is also another way, of making us look back, at least.

The capacity that a melody or a song has to please effectively and even of becoming popular, lays quite often in the first impression it leaves in the ear of the occasional listener. And it's the occasional listener that really matters for that purpose, since the existence of a predisposition, somehow affects our acceptance right at the departure, conditioning necessarily the direction of our appreciation. Many of those all time songs, have survived because of the strong initial acceptance but there's also something else... simplicity. This factor, is extremely important, because it inculcates a lightness and easiness, which have a fundamental role in our unconscious, up to the point of making us whistling and singing them occasionally, even if our cultural patterns tell us when under the domain of our full consciousness, that it's not really a thing to like. Of course that the search for the perfect melody is not an easy task... simply because there isn't one. At least not just, however, some schemes are proven efficient along the years and through experience and knowledge, musicians are able to, with also some perspicacity, captivate a large and varied number of listeners. This is a fine example of a very interesting musical scheme, with a lot of potential, both by the side of the sound itself... despite of personally preferring a little more "clear" type of sonority... as of the melodic inflection. It's not a complex structure and the melody is even effective and appealing... but the overall perception we have in a first listening, is not that evident to establish an immediate crush... simply because there is just a thin and practically transparent sheath involving it. But the beauty of it, is that it makes us look back, at least... and eventually, turn.
