Musique un tantinet médiévale d'une douceur étonnante. La pochette illustre parfaitement le contenu sonore avec l'apparition du cygne par le truchement d'un instrument à vent bien caractéristique. Cet album est superbe et il nous transporte à travers le temps et l'espace en un souffle. A mon humble avis, LE chef d’œuvre d'une auteur déjà reconnue pour sa grande maîtrise. A recommander chaudement ! L'absence de parties vocales n'est nullement à regretter. Merci pour ce magnifique partage.

Un álbum muy puro de alma, apto para adornar cualquier film de Príncipes y doncellas, quiero destacar la perfecta edición de las flautas y guitarras, en fin , todos los instrumentos. Felicitaciones por doble Van, una por un maravilloso álbum y la otra por dedicarlo a una de las personas mas grande de corazón que tenemos en nuestra comunidad, mi gran amigo Carybe!

Beaucoup d'élégance, de vigueur et d'émotions retenues dans cet album à la pochette superbement adéquate. J'ai apprécié la variété des arrangements et pourtant l'album dégage une unité. Le concept de Roméo et Juliette unit ces musiques. "Romeo's smile" dégage une énergie joyeuse et bondissante. "Time", évidemment, laisse entendre les tic-tac d'une horloge un peu empressée. "Baroque-swing" rappelle que nous sommes au XVII ième siècle : il commence par une hommage à JS Bach, avec cette partita de piano mais soudain une incursion inattendue du Jazz, comme une bulle de savon se serait égarée à travers les siècles emportant avec elle un peu d'air du XXème. Mais voilà que les violons reprennent la partita du piano du début. Une superbe et audacieuse construction, ma préférée dans l'album. Deux perles ouvrent et ferment l'album, Beaucoup de délicatesse avec cette flute très expressive. Les guitares nous rappellent que nous sommes au Sud de l'Europe dans cette histoire. Un album accompli. Grand merci pour cette oeuvre que je classe parmi mes favorites.

I have to agree that album cover pops right out at you, it stands out amongst the crowd .. .. and does justice to the music . . . 'tis a beautiful choice . . . . . . and the music . . . how gorgeous . . . a little different from Van Syla's usual beautiful musical excursions . . . this one (even more gorgeous) takes us to medieval times . . . and so romantic . . . a Shakespearian choice for sure . . . Delicate and tender . . like old lace and lavender . . a romance choses to bloom against a robin's eggshell blue sky . . . 'Twas Spring dancing in the meadow. . . her hair flying in the breezes and dreams of love's gentle song . . where only sunshine could exist and nothing could go wrong . . . or could it . . . . . "For never was a story of more woe Than this of Juliet and her Romeo." - W.S. but in the end the story gives us exceptionally beautiful music . . so we forgive the tears. . . . and listen to the tale told twice and then - again and again . . . And such a wonderful Jamendoan reviewer as our Carybe, who exists in our lovely Jamando kingdom, is one to deserve a gracious dedication . . through such a romantic and well made music . . . the sound so perfect and the love so deep . . .
