About this album

  • Updated: 07/11/2007

A sort-of-experimental drone/noise/ambient EP created in the year 2006, but wasn't published until now. The name "Lumivyöry" pertains to a concept ongoing during the album. It means "avalanche" in english, but the meaning's not that simple in the end... Enjoy the rhythms.

Już myślałam, że mi się głośniki popsuły, bo zamiast muzyki wyleciało z nich... no, właśnie - co? pierdzenie? wentylator-astmatyk? zepsuta pompa? Straszne.

Lumivyory is a very dark, sombre place to experience. You will need to have a certain type of fortitude to endure the extent of the noise presented herein. The first track seems to drain any hope out of life itself, peaking in volume towards the end. The second track, is lighter in mood, still dark though and very experimental in a rough minimalist sort of way, with a sure-footed rhythm. Track 3 reverberates into existence and wanders, somewhat aimlessly it seems, to the end of its' short life. Fourth track, much more structured, though still loosely so. Subtle changes to the synthetic rhythm allow its development into a track that is morosely melodious. Overall, this is strictly for seriously big fans of experimental electronica. It's dark out there, be careful!-)
