BLOON: [When] A Blood Red Moon Glows In The Dark

This first production is a double CD, where the first 11 titles CD could be called "From Here to There; Would You Dare?", and the second 11 titles CD could be called "From There to Here; I Can Hear!"

The first disc contains songs largely inspired by my 5 years in "the field", when I use to work in war zones. It could be the path a young dude wondering how he can help: hopes and dreams, departure, reality, return and consequences...

The second disc is more about feelings you find everywhere around the planet: enjoying its beauty, confronting betrayal and injustice, anger and love, hope and activism...

All songs are written, composed, perdormed, recorded and mixed by G.G.Baron alone, with the help of Pierre AlberK for the rythmic guitar on "Love Song" and maracas on "So Good So Bad I", courtesy of Limbo DeLuxe and Pedrito. Pierre is also the one who convinced me to go further in developping and recording the first melodies I came up with. Thank you!

Since I am no musician (just started a few years ago...), the writing and recording took about 3 years, and still isn't really square, I know. Sorry for that . But the essence lays in the writing and composing. I would love to meet professional musicians who could bring their point of view to those songs and help me give them a soul and a depth...

Oh! Why english? That's my musical culture, that's my working language, that's even the language I speak back home with wife and daughter, and the writing in english is very different from the french, allows me to say things in a shorter and straight to the point way. Not to mention that it is the latin of our time...

Last thing to mention about Bloon: for each song there is a picture related. I could not dowload them here, but you can access them on my own website: http://perso.orange.fr/G.G.Baron

All I hope is for you just to enjoy...

Cheers!

Georges Gustave Baron
