Sonically Induced Fiction...

An interesting intro, I like the ultimate inertia of moving music, it's curious feeling. That was called It Won't Start. I know the feeling. My obvious conclusion and general state, is Maybe The Battery's Dead? The track is a puzzling over this possible answer to the conundrum. A thought pattern in electronic form. The third track gives recognition to the wider environment, as part of this script acknowledges a possible presence of some indiscriminate nature. Stuck somewhere in the wildness of I Think I Saw Something Moving Out There, the track is quite mellow to begin with. It's a curiosity that it's trying to engender, or was it just paranoia? You Guys Gotta Run starts with a sibilant rattle, has a stronger structure and more of a sense of movement, or it's more easily recognisable. The sense of drama actually increases when there is less noise. The following track, is much more energetic, things are personalised... who or what is 'he', because Now He Is Out There is open to several interpretations. I love the diversity of the synth work as it builds to a crescendo (which might not happen here). Bass fills the space. With Getting Closer... Closer, things immediately sound more serious and focused, much closer. Being more readily to hand means the instrumentality has to pick up and form an easily accessible track of music and rhythm. There are some lovely sounds here. This is the crescendo of the previous track, it carries on, it's part of a series of episodes of sonically induced fiction. Make A Wish is that part of the adventure, when you start to realise the strength of your own imagination and you are actually the one in control. Might not be what you want to hear but that's the way the music is. I'm here and I'm staying. It drills a bassline into the centre of your skull and floats around this pinnacle of pretend penetration. Adding here, taking away there. Make your mind up time, are you going to endure who knows what terror further or try and change things? Wake Up is escaping the terror induced thus far and revealing the reality of the inescapable horror of what is to come. A busy track full of relief, gratitude, normality... or your perception of it, but anyway, let's be positive! It was all just a dream. So, that makes it better... right? Anyway, thanks for Media Induced Paranoia.
