A lovely start to Are We the Sentinels with Static Buzzing, kind of rolls from the speakers and swishes its synthetic tail to and fro. That tail starts to crack like a whip as the track progresses, adding an echoing, cutting edge to it. Nice intro. Then to Carbide, with its added element of synthetic tube-screaming. Golden Pillow Too Hot For Me, just rolls of sound. Drizzle continues along in a similar vein, the Mihidea way, so it seems. Place To Be, again retains the thread but in slower motion. And, so too to Joy Sadness Deviation. Slight changes in the minimalist electro, make bigger differences in the ear of the beholder, and it is a perilously thin line between, a style and a formula. I will put this one down to sytle, pending listening to other material. I liked Mild Feeling of the Evening, but then I do. Can't be doing with this getting drunk and fighting, give me a bit of decent music and a book, and I'm happy man. Minimalist life!-) The track that proves, to me, that it isn't formulaic, though strongly thematic in places, a particularity of style. No Peace becomes more sparse, though without losing any digital clout. Then we have Pulmonary space, pulsating space, a space for a pulse, room to live in living space. Holy Grail has a certain synthetic reverence to it, and is possibly my favourite track so far. Orange Clout comes in equally well, even if it's just for the great name. But then, orange does have clout against the common cold. Swear by it myself. Overall, not a bad bit of electronica that manages a sense of variation, but also retains a strong sense of stylisation.
