Musictrade info:
"Here comes the first full length Musictrade release from the Dutch experimental electronica artist and sound architect KraftiM. Modern western electronic sounds meet the serenity eastern instrumentalism on this album - think of a raga in a spaceship. From his first released tracks KraftiM has had a unique sound and a unique emotional atmosphere to his works, and this album is no exception. KraftiM is a musical travel agency specialized in surprise destinations. "
Contributing artists:
Krita Yuga (Japan) sitar on tracks 1, 4 till 11;
KIGAS (Japan) violin on tracks 2,3 and4; Geechi (USA) vocals on track 3.
Sleeve design: Doc
etSitara features the tracks from the previously minialbum etSitara released here on Jamendo. This minialbum is removed to avoid double releases. Now this etSitara is KraftiM's fully "japanese" album, due to the contributions of the japanese artists KIGAS and Krita Yuga. A new long version of mRat is released, as well as Hamagito and Solyuga who are added to complete this oriental trip. Have fun...

a 24bit/44.1kHz audiophile version of this album is available on

So z.B. Hamagito –
I really like the mood of this album. Nice combination between acoustic and electronic. No doubt, this is the best album from Kraftim till now.
Good work!
Thx for sharing.
Pretty hard to say. It could be eastern asian style as well. Anyways, it sounds good, a nice mix of electro and acoustic elements. sometimes it's chilling, sometimes confusing, sometimes it's both. It definitely doesn't get boring, due to the changes even within the tracks. Definitely one your your best albums. Good job.

...and they fit together very well. i did like your last album with sitar a lot, and this one is a great follow up. it works. accoustic spirits meet the djinns of the bits and bytes.
great cover! good work!
Da Vinci code and KraftiM code both are very confusing and difficult to crack. But today I am feeling proud that atleast I have cracked The KraftiM CODE!! Very strange compositions made by KraftiM. The combination of electronics and sitar creates a weird sort of output. But kudos to everyone behind this album as they have crafted a very nice album with 'typical' KraftiM music.
The poster is the real drawback as it contains serious spelling mistakes.

Very nice, indeed. I love the way you bring the purely electronic pieces to their climax, with a minimalistic point of view (if I'm not mistaken). Since I'm a big fan of oriental music and instruments, I'm biased when I say "nice work there with the sitar".
Is there a general theory behind this album or you consider it a collection of kinda atmospheric tracks?

I'm slowly working my way though KraftiM; you have to because he creates extremely absorbing pieces that must be given full attention.
It is more that they take your complete attention - ambiance like this is not ambient background but full mental absorption :)
