Quiet music, composed 2003-2004. Working with field recordings as rhythmic sources, augmented with subtle keyboard work, slowly shifting patterns, vocals, and the occasional guitar, frey has constructed an album of gentle beauty.

Inspirations include the ocean, the hum of earth loops, electric guitar harmonics, and the process of music making itself.

Cet album, par ses expérimentations, sons naturels, et mélange d'électronique, va droit au coeur.. c'est une musique sombre, mais, plusieur y voirait au contraire quelquechose plutôt chill. Ce qui s'en rapproche le plus est peut-être du Brian Eno ou du Björk. Euh, donc oui, c'est dark, chill, relax... l'auditeur que je suis s'y perd complètement... et j'adore me perdre...complètement fou... bravo à "Frey"

Remembered me the great time of the freezone compilation remixed by Dj Morpheus, albums of Solar Quest and other Terre Thaemlitz, Nu era, ... Nice trip, Great work, I'm a fan! I'm downloading the album right now and wait for the next opus to come.
