Nouvelle scène française ? Euh.......laquelle ? Showbizzz and co ? Bon , c'est évident que la prod est top . C'est un "produit" qui n'a pas été fabriqué dans le petit home studio d'un pote qui a un peu de matos ! Ce qui me gêne c'est ce côté un peu en trompe l'oeil , le côté nouvelle génération d'"artistes" qui arrivent sur la scène française . En fait , à part la production hyper-pro , il faut bien reconnaitre que le résultat est d'une banalité affligeante . Donc , aucune surprise à l'écoute de cet album qui ne me laissera pas de souvenir impérissable . La voix n'est pas non plus à tomber par terre , peu d'émotion et absence de charisme . On a l'impression que la chanteuse "assure le boulot" et sans plus . L'exemple le plus flagrant ? Le titre "bouge toi" ........il ne se passe absolument rien qui puisse nous amener à bouger , même la voix bénéficie d'un petit coup de vocoder pour donner le change , bref ça sent l'arnaque et le "coup" estampillé pur showbizz . Le côté "bien propret" et aseptisé qui se dégage de cet album renforce cette sensation de tristesse et d'ennui à l'écoute .

Un excellent album ! Un style pop-rock, avec de très bon son électro, c'est pêchu, très agréalbe à écouter, la voix est vraiment très belle, est bien mis en évidence par un bon volume sonore ! La musique est belle, l'instrumentation est aussi belle. C'est très professionnel au niveau musicale et de qualité sonore ! On est un peu ému, mais je sais que tu peux le faire encore plus, car vu le talent que tu as, tu dois aller au bout de tes rêves ! Continue !

L'album est bien produit. La musique est de qualité, la voix est bien... mais j'ai quand même un peu de mal à accrocher. Je pense que c'est peut-être parce que la voix et la musique ne vont pas vraiment ensemble, au niveau du style? En tous cas, l'album est quand même bien sympa dans l'ensemble, c'est du bon boulot, merci de l'avoir mis sur jamendo!

Ca fait plusieurs disques que j'écoute sur Jamendo, et celui-là est clairement au-dessus du lot. Vraiment des musiques très sympas et une très belle voix. Bravo : Gérard

I listened to this album with growing irritation as I went through the tracks. Maybe someone agrees with the opinion I formed: The lounge bar type of musical backing is cool. The voice is lovely. The mix is fine. Probably the words are good (my french isn't good enough to figure that out). What's missing is the way the words frame their melody - it doesn't fit with the music, and what we do hear is usually too weak in melody to carry a counterpoint. It's like hearing a poem that doesn't rhyme - sometimes it will work, sometimes it won't. Now, if you have lyrics that wander about like that, they should have their own strong melody. Most of the time these lyrics don't. Not only that, Sophie's trying to fit them in to the rhythm of the song and a lot of the time it doesn't work. Argh. It bugs me especially because there is potential there! But it needs a smart producer who can imagine the final sound to steer the talent towards that sound. For what it's worth, here are my tips: try figuring out harmonies for the voice, and multitrack the voice to make that part stronger. Try mangling the lyrics so they fit the structure of the backing better. It's not going to be applicable to many of the pieces, but thinking like that may help you lead the piece to a better outcome. Looking back at this review, I realise I may have offended you. That is not my intent. I apologise for savaging your pieces like this - just please take it constructively. If you like, go ahead and savage my pieces in return. I'm fairly thick-skinned.

I especially like 1.2.3, after that the album doesn't hit the same heights, but I guess you should listen to it backwards and it gets better track by track ;)

Oui, c'est du bon boulot, le son est très bon, l'ensemble est bien produit. Il manque un petit quelque chose qui accroche au coeur.

Die Melodien variieren zwischen ruhigem, etwas verträumtem wie bspw. "petit melodie", fast schon popig, rockigem wie "dis moi" oder atmosphäsrisch wie "le temps d'un café". Alles kleine musikalische Erzählungen, die je mehr gewinnen, je öfter man sie sich anhört, bei denen sich wunderbar entspannen läßt.

Perfect... there is an alchemy that makes me love this voice. I listened this album with my girlfriend, it was so romantic, really cute. Your voice is ....

j'ai vibré avec cet album et je me le passe en boucle. quelques arrangements maladroits ne changent rien à l'émotion que je ressens en l'écoutant
