Quite an intense melody to begin with, and a slowly encroaching background support, needed for the ensuing fluctuations of synthetic noise. It spirals upwards into a whirlwind of sound, finding a new rhythmic structure that is further elaborated upon. Very nice already and I'm guessing improvised to some extent being a live set piece. It calms to a watery wonderland of a cool ambience. Still retaining echoes of the beginning section. Then it all smoothes out after a little reaching up of a synthetic squiggle and begins to gently reverberate. Then, it begins to build up again, in a slightly modified form, resonating through my speakers, as it does so. It seems to find an equilibrium about halfway through, finding another foundation upon which to build. This it does slowly adding subtle ingredients to the mix. Soon the soundscape is populated with curious, digital forms of transient life. A star rises above the horizon and begins to shed its light, on what has been quite a dark soundscape. There is life on this experimental planet, as they all are, huge world-sized experiments. There is a change in tone, as if something significant has turned up on the scene and everything else adjusts to accommodate its presence. Responsive causality. Everything integrates, even if it sounds a bit reluctant or resigned in some sense(s). And then a digital rendition of the ebb and flow of some naturally based machination and we return to that bubbling, primeval sea of creation and emanation. Lightning strikes into the primordial soup of life. Back to a beginning at the end of a journey. Nice set piece.
