nice buzz to listen to this album. thoughtful, and even well-thought, all pieces have been built up in a nice way - as musically and technically. the author plays piano on a master level as well - it's not a disadvantage.. well, I liked the songs much, especially the piece "Tentativo50".. Congratulations and please come out with new ones soon.

Auf Schriftliche (aber sehr höfliche :) bitte vom Künstler selbst habe ich mir die Zeit genommen, das Album "CO2" von Orlando mal einer etwas kritischeren Hörprobe zu unterziehen. Das ergebnis dieser Betrachtugn möchte ich denn hier mal öffenltich bekannt geben. Zunächst mal die ganzen Banalitäten, bevor wir uns dem Wesentlichen (den Tracks) zuwenden. Das Cover: Fand ich Persönlich wenig ansprechend und Harmoniert IMHO auch nicht wirklich mit dem Stil der Musik... Nennt mich verbohrt, aber das Bildchen hätte mich eher davon abgehalten, in das Album reinzuhören. (Frei nach dem motto: "Och nö, nicht nochmal irgendwelcher 08/15 Elektro-Müll..." Davon gibts auf Jamendo ja nun wahrlich genug ;) ) Der Download: Die MP3-Zip hat eine größe von ~60 MB, also durchaus in einem Bereich, den ich auch für Modem- und ISDN-Besitzer für Zumutbar halte. (Je nach Internetkosten) So, nun aber mal ans eingemachte: Die Tracks kommen schon ein wenig Syntethisch daher, der Elektro-einschlag ist stärker, als ich es nach der Ankündigung des Künstlers erwartet hätte. Anders als bei vielen anderen "Elektro-Rock"-Alben ist das ganze hier aber nicht Negativ zu verstehen, denn alles passt sehr schön aufeinander und gibt trotz des Synthesizersounds einen ordentlich rockigen Rythmus mit sehr eingängiger Melodie, der sich sehr gut hören läst. Lediglich die zwischendurch auftauchenden, hohen Sinustöne schmerzen manchmal in den Ohren, hier sollte dringend ein bischen am Equalizer ab 14K aufwärts gedreht werden... alternativ brauch ich neue Boxen, die die Töne besser ausgeben ;o) Beim Persönlichen Liebling des Albums werde ich mir nicht ganz einig. Track Nr. 4, "Natura morta", ist sehr ruhig gehalten und kommt am "echtesten" von allen liedern rüber, zumal ich eh eine schwäche für langsame Melodien habe. Aber auf Track 5, "Tentativo50" muss sich nicht verstecken, wirkt allerdings etwas weniger ernsthaft, sonder mehr verspielt, dafür aber auch weit "rockiger". Also eher ein "Gute-Laune-Lied", meines erachtens nach. Wirklich einen "Sieger" kühren kann ich aber nicht... Die lieder sind alle äußerst gut gemacht und wirken äußerst Professionell, ohne dabei ins Seelenlose Pop-geblubber abzurutschen. Klar, mein Ultimativer Liebling wird die Scheibe nicht, dafür kann ich mit der gesamten Elektro-Sparte allgemein zu wenig anfangen. Aber Gute mussi ist es allemal und eine 9/10 Definitiv verdient :)

De belles ambiances sonores où chaque instrument trouve bien sa place. Le rock progressif est bien intégré dans ces musiques qui dégagent de l'émotion et de la douceur. J'ai adoré "Natura Compromessa" pour son rythme et son envolée de sons, interrompue par une nouvelle douceur ; un morceau magnifique ! "Natura morta" porte bien son titre : une certaine langueur qui amène la mélancolie. "Tentativo50" suit bien derrière pour redonner un peu de vie, de gaieté. "Nube di Oort", peut être la plus belle piste : on pénêtre dans une ambiance bizarre et un peu inquiétante par moment. Un morceau au final magnifique qui dégage une superbe puissance. Un album qui m'a laissé de merveilleuses sensations et que je recommande vivement.

I love this album. On my first listen, I was suprised at every turn -- and all the surprises were pleasant. The music transforms from texture to texture, color to color, yet always remains part of the same unit. In a way, it's like a Chameleon. Or maybe like a Prince of Amber shifting through related Shadows. If you are a fan of JT Bruce or Derek, you should like this album. J'adore cet album. J'ai trouvé une surprise à tout instant; la musique est riche en texture. Je vous recommande d'écouter chaque morceau avant de juger -- simples mots ne peuvent pas peindre le portrait exact.

I needed a cheerful, upbeat, fresh, and energetic piece as background music for my video reportage of the annual relay race for the staff of the company I work for. And I wanted it to be an instrumental piece. Jamendo is a great collection of music, but finding the right music proves to be hard. You can't just type 'cheerful energetic' in the Search box, and expect immediate result. I already lost hope of finding the perfect piece, and ready to settle for an "acceptable" choice, when I found this album. The Tentativo50 track was perfect for me. It is indeed cheerful, fresh, and energetic and, even as I must have heard it more than 20 times while I was editing my video, it sounded just as fresh every time. (To watch the video: Search for "Infor Global Mile Run 2008" on YouTube). This track's secret? The artist masters his instrument, starts out with a basic, powerful melody, and sticks with it. He doesn't resort to cheap effects but keeps it simple. I briefly listened to the other tracks, and believe they have the same quality. As making videos is my hobby, I expect to use more tracks from this artist.
