About this album

  • Updated: 10/03/2008

ElectroSynthesis' debut EP, "Love Hertz", is a mash of different styles. With the opening "Coexist", Andrew makes his aptitude for rhythms clear to the listener. Then he moves into "Windfall" a more mellow, but equally dedicated song, this song makes clear his ability to move rhythms, even at lower tempos. "Love Hertz," the namesake of the EP, is a dark, dance driven tune, with heavy use of synth percussion. The dark synth and bright cutting noise collide in a make-me-want-do-dance rhythm. "Solar Logic" is a dark song, with the intent of rocking the stereo with impressive bass. After this, it closes into "Lightning" a dark, eerie song, which dives into a pounding beat and high tempo.

This excellently crafted EP highlights that we have more to see from ElectroSynthesis in the future.

The album is a quick listen. It reminds me of video game music. I particularly like the songs Lightning and Love Hertz. Something good to just turn on for some good back ground music. The cover is an A+ in my book.
