About this album

  • Updated: 04/04/2008

Something Is Alive in the Laboratory (also, just "Alive") is split into fast, hard, and sinisterly dark tracks, and light, chill-out atmospheric grooves.

Pushing the edge with darkstep drum 'n' bass, Alive consists mostly of jungle tracks written and produced in 2005 and 2004. Its full of wickedly dark bass-lines wrapped in classic science fiction inspired motifs.

The softer tracks focus on melody and content, and are more in the realm of atmospheric drum and bass.

The album description says it all and I can only add how much fun this album is to listen to, such a cool attitude and musical creation. Alive is like a whole b-movie crammed into one track. Some nice thematic variety. Tasty little album!-)
