I saw the hype this track was getting, and had to finally listen to it. I very much don't understand the excitement about it, to be honest. It is well put together, and very very well produced. However, throughout the whole song I had the feeling that I had heard it before. It uses a lot of very standard progressions and predictable measures that didn't do much for me. I listened fully to the track, expecting something... unexpected to come about, and did not hear it. I think this artist has a lot more potential, and that could be made prevalent with a bit more exploratory recording.
