This album contains the demented ramblings of Andy Pop covering the years 1995-2006. It is a mixture of punk, pop and anything weird. An alternative to alternative, the genre "alternative" now seems to represent bland corporate rock.
Musical influences included David Bowie, Blur, Spice Girls, Eternal, Bangles, Carter USM, Whigfield, Stock Aitken Waterman, Bob Dylan, Beatles, Elvis, Motown, Madness
Too Much To Bear and Girl On TV are performed by the "real" Kylie Minogue, i.e. not Mrs Redknapp meets Atkins and Peroxide. (just me and Katie's private joke lol :).... On a serious note, if you're into the eighties this is the place to be.
Lead singer Andy has been compared to Lennon and Bowie, however in this world of X-Factor etc that counts for bugger all. Plus he's not as talented, so maybe that's the reason for the frustration...Stuff rigged TV talent shows and tune into the real McCoy. Fuck MTV who completely fucked up what Sun Records did in the 1950s. OK Rant Over.....
The highlight of this album is Love Aint Big Enough For 3, which Andy wrote in 1998 with possible the Spice Girls or Boyzone in mind. It's about a real life love triangle, so while the bowie-esque vocals might not quite hit every note it's packed full of the emotion that only someone who could have experienced real heartache can deliver. What "Angels" could have been if at had been any cop:)
Andy Wainwright: Vocals, bass, keyboards, programming
Stephen Branch: Vocals, guitar, programing
Phil Lines: Drums
Additional vocals/instruments by Neville Dean and Katie Morton
All songs written and produced by Stephen Branch & Andy Wainwright

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
