THE RECYCLED (original soundtrack)

(2000)

This album actually contains soundtracks for two full-length theatre performances: "The Recycled" (2000) and "Planet DIC" (2001) by the theatre group POZITIV, directed and choreographed by Sebastjan Starič.

The Recycled was a joint project of Borut Bernik (see Torul) and Juice Connection, while Planet DIC was written and recorded by Juice Connection. Most of the music for both performances was electronic, some of it containing live elements. This collection also includes a couple of tracks written and recorded at theatre music workshops, mentored by Stojan Kralj and Borut Praper at that time, which were not used in neither The Recycled nor Planet DIC.

This is dynamic, thought provoking, stirring, intriguing and very interesting to say the least, The music takes you on a massive journey into these musicians minds and souls. Feel the power of the music stir you and excite you, as you feel the awe of this profound, captivating, blues, jazzy, world music, drone, instrumental, ambient, electronic, post rock, soundtrack and much more to it. This is one wild, awesome, atmospheric, dark, intriguing, stimulating, chaotic, strange, wonderful, delightful, interesting to say a few words to describe what I felt... as an experience to have listening to this.
