From all the reviews here (so far), downloads, and listens, you would be under the impression this was anything but mediocre. While the vocals are performed solidly, the beats are less than impressive, coming across as utterly generic circa 1999. This album does nothing to advance hip hop, and while it might entertain someone (I'm not quite sure who), it's certainly not noteworthy enough to warrant a download let alone a purchase.

'A Day In Da Life ExPerience The Album', is a 11 track, Hip Hop-Urban-Rap album. **Note: This review is based on a Single Track, 'Where I Come From'. Hopefully in the near Future I will be able to present a Review on the album in its Entirety. 'Where I Come From', is Deceptively Complex. On the Surface American-Style(Ethnic-Black)Rap appears to be the Dominant Voice but the Underlying Foundation has Classical Music Inlfuence--The Synth String Line, A Pop Percussion ,Down Beat coincides with the Hip Hop Vibe. Deep Bass Synth Keyboard gives the Sound of the Streets along side a Lyrical-but Simple Keyboard Melody--similar to a Technique/Style done by Run D.M.C. Vocally, the Rap is Coherent and Intelligent. The Verse is well Timed, Rhymed and Phrased. Two Male Rappers Alternate between being Lead and Harmonize well in Duet Mode. Melodic is not a Term often applied to Rap but this Song is very much so. Some of the Language is "R-Rated" but is completely suitable and used Judiciously. If the Listener understand English--a Interesting and Thoughtful Discourse is heard. If the Listener does not Understand English--The Sound is as previously mentioned Melodic. These Cat's can Vocalize! A Truly Great Contemporary-Urban Composition. An Indulgence: Customarily, I do not comment on the Reviews and/or Opinions of Others. I Strongly believe that each Listener is Entitled to present Opinion/Criticism{-Constructive or otherwise} and Personal Point of View(s) without having the Opinions of others Imposed upon them. Thus, I will not directly comment on any of the Reviews pertaining to this album. I will ask that Those Listening to the album form their Ultimate Opinion(s) Objectively. lISTEN to THIS Work and concern yourself with it and NOT OTHER Similar works -BEFORE reaching a conclusion. Try to critique the Artist objectively.

I loved your music! My favourite songs are: Where I come from, pumping it, dam Im so high, gangsta gangsta, that money, armed and dangerous. I love the beat, but the other songs, I like less. I made two GTA4 videos with these songs that you can watch on: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SPz4MN4s0xc Full Speed City Race... J'ai aimé votre musique! Mes chansons préférées sont: Where I come from, pumping it, dam Im so high, gangsta gangsta, that money, armed and dangerous.
