This is a collection of demos recorded at home. Melodic, guitar based songs with a variety of styles. Lyrics written by either myself, my daughter Lisa or my friend Paul Valentine.

Straightforward, all-out rock stomp of the type that's rarely heard these days. Good lyrical work combined with strong musicianship and a hard rocking sensibility. Great work!

Es ist kein wirklich großes Kino, aber guter, schnörkelloser und teilweise rockiger Blues, den Ally Valentine hier abliefert. Das Album ist durchgängig gut hörbar. Auch wenn qualitativ durchaus noch Luft nach oben ist: Weiter so!

Un bout rock (typiquement anglais d'ailleurs) et blues, une musicalité parfaite, une voix bien rock.

Un excellent album au style rock-blues, très agréable à écouter et très bien fait.
L'instrumentation est bonne, typique du rock.
L'ambience est très...blues, la voix est très belle et assez "neutre"

ist auf jeden Fall gegeben. Auch wenn mir gleich im ersten Song die eine oder andere Passage recht bekannt vorkam, war ich doch alles in allem angenehm überrascht. Der dominierende Blues gepaart mit Rock und auch ein wenig Funk, geben dem Album eine spezielle Note. Alles in allem ein Album was man sich getrost mal anhören kann, wenn man die o.g. Stilelemente mag.

Très bel album, dommage que la voix du chanteur soit un peu plate et nasillarde. "Loneliness blues" est lent, lancinant, étourdissant, ça m'accroche terrible.

This album is song by song a wonderful job. Only the mastering quality is bad, sadly it almost spoil some tracks. However, all and all this is a must have in your MP3 library.
Those of us who love blues will love the style: it is pure, very guitar based and with a good voice. As songwritters they fully deserve our respect.
My favourites tracks could be:
Loneliness blues, before i am, she goes out with other guy and i think therefore i am.
To the artists: Good job guys, and please please if you make a remastered version let the world know!!! :D
