Monopoly is genius. Too many people these days try to write quirky, funny, clever songs that end up either being boring musically or too contrived lyrically. Dave is none of these things, though he is funny as hell. Great work on the vocals on this one as well, male and female both though I thought the backup vocals could be a bit quiter in the mix (her voice is so strong it covers your lyrics at times). Intriguing chord progression that keeps you interested. Had some trouble finding the groove on the "Nothing" song, but I suspect that's the point.... that's kinda the way this guys mind works. If you're looking for some underground shite that will make you laugh and/or think, check this out. Would love to get this guy into a studio....
