The melody in the first track seems so strangely familiar, that I have to listen to it twice. Maybe there is something archetypal in Cut Of The Knife... Dirt Jam (The Fall) is thoroughly good stuff, variegated and yet constant in its lovely bold strokes of musicality. Where do the leaves fall, but into the dirt, so it has a symbolism for me too, as it seems, as I feel. I like the snow. Maybe because it hides the dirt and can make everything look so picturesque and beautiful. More symbolism and thoughts for the day after a dreamless sleep, at least ones I cannot remember, which leads to a recuperative peace of mind. Such is Snow Jam (The Winter). I like the dramatic edge of Dirty Deed2, something very relevantly appealing to it. Lovely sounds in the mix. Downtime2 again a familiar friend in my crowded head. Maybe I just need some, I feel it coming, looming on the horizon. A brilliantly constructed track, I love it. Nice pace and excellent filler. Then, it all changes, its form packed in tighter. Ending with a reprise. Fac-46 a profoundly lovely variation on the theme of Geo. I love the sound of this album already. I love the sound of this track, it's like a mini-adventure, that progresses well. Helloosan8 echoes wonderfully in the ear channels, very dynamic and energetic. Lick Me Right a fantastic panopoly of guitar conversations. Fantastic battle of the axes, lovely stuff! Then, it's all aboard the New Years Train. Again, an echo of a sound that I've stored from somewhere else. This need to be played loud to get its full effect. Hell, it should just be played loud anyway, why not educate the neighbourhood. O Town Groove M3, a totally different air in this archive. Love that synth sound. Nice groove. Change of trains, into the Ride Of The Goomba express. Amazing sounds to listen to on the move. Yes, I Want It Bad, another good groove on the move. Like Bass-O-Matic on LSD. Screech Owl, lends itself brilliantly to the ear of the listener, like US3 on phets. Sihkmeoff flows in well, with its eastern lilt and ambience. Nice relaxing melody and overall effect is good. Skrunge Remix is cool moving, from place to pace. Then a fond farewell to Troy. Party!)
