About this album

  • Updated: 19/05/2008

Zooso EP was recorded (mixed and mastered) again with Porpoise's good friend Timothy Parkes in lounges, bedrooms and backrooms using gear they purchased themselves rather than opt for the money draining option of studio time. This has given them an organic and imperfect sound but most importantly a spring board to produce their own music in their own time without the outside pressures & expectations.

Zooso is a product of four Englishmen who live outside the radar.

*The 'Poise' love digital format sharing but at the end of the day, isn't artwork better in your hands, the print on your fingers, the gloss shining in your eyes? We have produced fold out poster art for this release at a small cost.... contact us if you want a cd copy.

There are some really fun and nice moments but I just feel that you fellas should take some more time on vocals and really put something together. I don't mean a thing. I'm just being honest... Thanks for working something. Just to produce in this industry can be whatever... Ward

Not for me, but for someone else, why not?

-The March Of The Bat Queen: Hm. Damn me, this sounds similiar to the "March Of The Wicked Man"- no specific riffs, but in overall construction. Nice, arcade-y feel to it, although no deep feelings. Still, IMO the best one here. Good job on that, you should try doing some more tracks like this. -Narwhal: Nice riffs there. Only the refrain is too dragged out, could be something more dynamic. -GorrilOR!: Heh. Weird, but nothing more. -Knuckles: Cool, slow one. Nah, too slow. -White Flag: Boring, to be honest. Could use some more dynamic, too. Overall- not bad, but you should try doing something less-rock and more-hard-rock. On the second hand, I know that metal-like riffs and mad solos aren't easy to pull of, but this would be more appealing, at least to me :D Anyway, I'm sure this will appear more to some other people. _____________________________________________ PS. Please note that I couldn't say anything about lyrics, because for me in most of songs they're almost inaudible unless I have written lyrics in front of my eyes while listening. God, my spoken english sucks.
