About this album

  • Updated: 21/05/2008

This is Going Commandos debut album.   Teenage pop-punk and rock at it's best.  We recorded this album after being together for about a year.  We cover a small variety of genres throughout the album while keeping the same overall sound.  The musical variety is pretty evident between each track.   We were only 15 and 16 years old at the time!

Great fun pop-punk album. Nothing that hasnt been done before on it, but what is on here is catchy, fun and shows up the band's enthusiasm for music. Skalidays was my favourite track. I will be interested to hear what they come up with after playing together and recording a little more. Looking foward to it.

I don't really know how I would rate this album. But, I would say that my favorite track is Mother Funker. It is very inspired by Les Claypool and his band Primus, isn't it ? The bassline is very groovy. Very simple, very cool. You should continue into that way !
