Un album empreint de douceur et de mélancolie où la voix captive autant que les sons.
Un voyage au gré de ses fantaisies et de ses rêveries, d'où l'on ressort tranquille et serein.
Juste un petit bémol : "You capture me in slow motion" s'achève un peu trop brutalement, cela m'a surprise.
Cet album repose. A écouter absolument en se laissant aller, vous verrez, vous serez vite détendu.
I really enjoyed the mood in "be here goes into deep" ! A bit too much delay on the stick (but its only my taste.
Overall the album is nicely produced & recorded, good arrangements and nice vocals.
I like it!!

Restless, is simply restless in a musical sense, with a lyrical intro, then a nice indie rock full of vocals. Good track to be fair, the chorus is catchy with decent instrumentation. ...at the Hacienda is OK too. You Capture Me signifies that this is a style emerging or it's a mini-concept album. Preferred You Capture Me In Slow Motion to be honest, more electronica, which is my personal preference at the moment!-)
Be Here has nice instrumentation again, I'd have been happy without the lyrics but it's consumate with the overall feel of the EP, and doesn't overdo the words. Be Here Goes Into The Deep is a mint 'dub' version, nice stuff and again I feel that the instrumentation is good and solid foundation for the vocals.
To be fair, it not this kind of stuff that's floating my boat at the moment. However, I can see it being popular because it appears to have been well produced and if you like the style it's cool. I have trouble making lyrics out (I have to ask the missus) and am more seriously looking for non-vocal music for personal reasons.
However, I think it's definitely worth a listen, nice stuff!-)
No more paragraphs full of obscureness and meaningless comparisons. Just pick the 'Be here' track and after 2:17 your head strangely start shacking, legs dancing, mouth singing... immediately turning you to this band fanboy.
A la base de cette démarche, l'idée qu'une chanson doit être remixée pour atteindre l'accomplissement. Chaque titre dispose ainsi de sa version remixée, transfigurée, révélée. Un angle de recherche bien défini puisqu'il s'agit (prioritairement ?) de rendre visibles des choses qui auraient été cachées dans un premier temps. Voici pour le concept et la méthode de travail. l'aboutissement de cette réflexion est loin d'aboutir à un résultat cérébral et sans âme. Cet album délivre une atmosphère d'une étrangeté perturbante mélée de douceur. Les mélodies minimaliste d'Azoora (pas plus de deux notes pour un couplet, quatre pour un refrain) deviennent vite obsédantes. L'accompagnement à la guitare acoustique leurs sied merveilleusement. Les remix successifs maltraitent consciencieusement chaque titre afin d'en faire surgir la substance vitale interne, 'Restless at the Hacienda' se trouve de la sorte investi d'une fragilité et d'une urgence que la première version ne possédait pas de façon aussi flagrante. Et pour ajouter à l'aspect remarquable de l'expèrience, tout cela s'écoute avec un plaisir presque inépuisable.
