Ich war gerade in meinen Hausaufgaben vertieft und hörte das Album nur im Hintergrund. Für mich ist es geschaffen um zu arbeiten und dabei auch noch schöne Musik zu hören, die nicht ablenkt. Es gefällt mir wirklich gut und ich habe spontan keinen Verbesserungsvorschlag.

Finde diese Scheibe absolut klasse! Sehr guter Jazz echt professionell!

"Has Wayne Horvitz moved to electric piano?". That was my first thought when listening to the opening bars of "King Louie". In my ears, a clear reminiscence of his quartet "Zony Mash" - and that, for one, is not a bad thing. On the (well recorded) album, I'm missing however both that kind of original statement, and a clear definition of where the music takes you. The great playing by all the instrumentalists, the sometimes capturing melodies and interesting solos simply don't make an interesting statement of an arbitrary collection of pieces of fusion jazz and lounge muzak. Still, I like it somewhat. Mixed fellings on that release. But not something I'd put into my CD collection.

Yip! Mir gehn beim Hören so viele Assoziationen durch den Kopf . Von "Weather Report" über "Brand X" bis zu "RTF" .................. Man hört , dass jeder Musiker sein Handwerk gelernt hat und jeweils viel von seiner Persönlichkeit einbringt . Besonders der Basseur springt mir ins Ohr. Klanglich und von Produktionsseite ebenfalls eine 1a. U . L . I .

Mi primer contacto con Fuzzy Tunes fue por casualidad, y éste álbum no ha dejado de estar en mi reproductor de música desde entonces. Es una agradable combinación de ritmos y tiempos, que de pronto pasan de la potencia a la tranquilidad y lo mismo recuerdan al lounge que al más puro jazz improv, si es que tal cosa existe. La interpretación es muy buena, y si bien no todas las canciones pueden llegar a ser del agrado de todos --cuestión de gustos-- son altamente satisfactorias. En esencia, el álbum es para relajarse y disfrutarlo.

It's really a pleasure to listen to musicians who really play (no midi and electronic tracks) Their playing is very good , something between jazz and fusion (my favorite style) Their compositions are also very good and that's really the most difficult to do; something fresh, different , original, consistent and strong. They really "do it"
