Anne’s Cordial may be newcomers to the New England music scene, but with their unique instrumentation, tight vocal harmonies, and intriguing arrangements, they are already creating a stir. The Providence-based trio performs original songs and reinvents blues, bossa nova, and New Wave 80s hits.
Rick Massimo of The Providence Journal wrote "The Providence-based female trio Anne's Cordial can make a 16th-century Spanish Christmas carol sound like the blues, then turn around and make Robert Johnson's "Hellhound on My Trail" sound like a piece of medieval music. They've got piano, guitar and harp, but the voices are the thing, both individually and (especially) combined. Highly recommended."
In the past year they have played at local coffeehouses and several popular venues in Providence and Massachusetts, including Perishable Theatre, the Mediator Stage, Brooklyn Coffee and Tea House, All-Asia Bar, and Twin River casino. They have shared the stage with Porter Singer of Connecticut, Joe Auger of Providence, Los Angeles singer-songwriter Genevieve, and Spogga. They recently were featured in a live, in-studio performance onthe BSR (88.1 WELH)programAround the World.
"Each woman of Anne's Cordial brings a unique background and focused energy to the performance. But it is their ease of collaboration that is so impressive." wrote Mary DeBarry of Associated Content.
Along with MergingArts Productions, Anne's Cordial coordinated SWAN Day RI, a local celebration of a new international holiday SWAN Day (Support Women Artists Now). SWAN Day RI premiered in 2008 at the Artists' Exchange in Cranston, RI as an all-day festival, featuring women musicians, poets, artisans, and filmmakers throughout New England. Anne's Cordial opened for headliner Thea Hopkins, the Boston short story folk singer.
Anne's Cordial is currently working with producers Spogga and Joe Auger to create an EP, which will be available soon. Gigs for this summer include a performance at the benefit Singing Out Against Hunger.

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
