Wright's music is a revelation to me. His last two offerings on Jamendo were diverse - ranging from STRANGE CHANGE'S Kings Of Leon type rock to DYLAN'S DEAD? - a masterpeice of folk-rock and country that nodded its head to Bob Dylan. But Wright demonstrates his superb versatility with his new album - the beautifully titled SIPPING ON A RED BULL. The opener, I Believe In Love is a classy rock song in the vein of the Foo Fighters and Stereophonics. But it just gets better and better with the following tracks. Closer is a hit if ever, and Sipping On A Red Bull is ironic and clever and catchy as hell. A fine little EP that shocases Wright's album TV LIFE, from which all of the tracks have been taken. The intelligent lyrics and fine vocals add another layer of class. Excellent stuff indeed.

I just had to review this new EP. SIPPING ON A RED BULL IS AWESOME. Such strong melodies and hooks. Real instruments played with such confidence and skill, and then there's the vox. What a great, commericial voice! Thank you Mr Wright! I loved this little album, and will be listening to the rest of the album for sure. Can't wait.

Yep, like this one a lot. Good songs, with a Foo Fighters' feel. Nice melodies. Vocals stand out and guitars kick. All in all, tremendous little album.
