Düster, langsam, lang und eine Stimme bei der man nicht weiß ob diese Töne von einem Instrument stammen oder aus einer anderen Welt, super..!!!!!

Thus is quite a nice track, echoing large structure filled with lovely soundscaping. I like it's dynamism and movement, seeming quite a dramatic and positive piece. Funeral Dance steps down to a darker level, thrashing guitars and flowing synth, thought the voice grumbling seems to be less in tune with the structure. More of a dronescape, though it feels brighter again towards the end of the track. Monolith, full of variation, the gruff vocals are varied slightly and there is a lot of variation within this monolithic track, with some quite harsh guitar work. Reminds me of Hydra Calm. Then the final piece of this cycle of creative expression in dark musical form. Guitars are more evident, seeming as explosions in conjunction with voice, and the synthetic flow seems stronger. Overall, the whole selection has made for interesting listening, and although the voice is more evidently droning and groaning, so is the music, though I think I have become more enured of it during the day, and it has been a long day, but I felt it relevant to view the various albums in succession. And it has been like listening to a distorted, dark Wagnerian cycle of musical expression. The theme has remained fairly constant throughout, and there has been variation enough to justify its claims as far as the preamble and genres go. However, I will say that it will not be for everyone's liking or ears and their toleration may be stretched pretty wildly, for those of a lesser constitution. Symphony III is a slight anti-climax in some respects, but that is my opinion and perhaps the change in tone becomes more of an inflexible drone towards the end of it all. The voice seems less connected, though it would be unfortunate to end on a bad note. All in all, it's been a grand, monolithic sound adventure. Thanks for sharing. Again the ending seems to round up with an element of hope after all the darkness. Impressive.

Until Death Overtakes Me attempts to grasp a more majestic style on this album. Now, the synths are ever-present and ominous, guitars loud and flooding and crushing, like large tidal waves. Focus has shifted into objective spheres, where subjective thought and emotion hold ever the less weight. There is something grand and spacey about this whole ordeal. Overall, though, I feel this album is in fact too monolithic. Too unwavering, too uncaring. Slightly too long. Musical versatility has been trapped inside a huge stone monolith, so to speak. But any less, and it would lose its integrity... this album took a hard path, and for that, it deserves a place in the funeral doom star map. (part of the review series "Jamendo Metal")
