Outstanding album, fantastic sounds, that come alive with the vocals, such beauty and amazing, ambient,enchanting, flow and feel to these tracks. My favourite band so far for 2009!!! I hope to hear more from you real soon. AS I'AM A FAN NOW....

Mit das Beste was ich auf Jamendo gefunden habe (und das war schon recht viel). Asiatisches Feeling verpackt in moderner elektronischer Musik und das Ganze professional gemacht. Das ist was Besonderes. Mein Lieblingstitel ist "Painting with Lights".

Son de esas cosas que gustan de entrada, es distinto, con sonidos raros que atrapan y que se disfrutan.

Der meiste Elektro-Pop langweilt mich. Dies ist eine Ausnahme! Eine argentinische Band, die japanische Einflüsse auf ihre Musik betont. Ich höre auch irische Einflüsse, aber eigentlich ist es Pop, guter Pop. "Painting with light" ist auch mein Lieblings-Song.

So, I just heard of The Kyoto Connection last night, when I was looking for Creative Commons music to use in a short documentary that I am working on... and I stumbled upon The Kyoto Connection, because I was looking for Asian and Asian-inspired music... While the sounds of The Kyoto Connection don't work for my documentary, they sure work for me! I am completely taken over by their sound and style. I love every album, including this one! I was introduced to this particular album when I went to the band's website. They have the entire album streaming on their homepage, and listened to the whole thing, and never felt compelled to close the browser tab! The album is so refreshing, and the female vocals are so beautiful. I can safely say that I like every song, but my favorite is definitely "The Prisoner." I love it so much, I keep repeating it! The cover of this album is also amazing. It's beautiful, and subtle, yet eye-catching. I can't wait for another release by The Kyoto Connection!~

Asie mélange Une certaine musique asiatique se retrouve plongée dans les méandres cybernétiques de cette belle musique . Là-aussi , les sons modernes cohabitent avec des arrangements qui font appel à la tradition . Chacun de ces titres est un bijou , rien n'est à jeter ... et plus particulièrement " Let the sun in " ( qui , par moment , sonne un peu celtique ) , " to the sunrise " et " Samurai spirit " . Bel avenir pour ce groupe , si l'inspiration est toujours aussi riche .
