Debussy has never been a particular favourite of mine, preferring the simplicitude and minimalism of Chopin, I have found Debussy's sense of drama somewhat muted though I do not profess to be an expert. Here though I find an interesting interpretation of his work from what I know of it. That TDm should develop on that will to some be a travesty but for me acceptable for all music is derivative and the classics have their place in their own right, and would themselves, if they were still around, tinker with that of the postmodern vanguard in electronica. iNTERwiEw reminds me of my efforts at finding suitable work, once I went to a nuclear facility and explained why I was a member of CND at the time. Didn't go down well, but then some nuclear facilities don't go down well when they begin to melt!-) Saved the best 'til LAsT! Nice reinterpretational work.

Who is TDm? Where did he come from? What kind of music is this? How does he do it? Original, challenging and absorbing... those are the words that first come to mind.

Un album avec des musiques vraiment très originales dans leur concept... Moi, ça ne me fait pas trop planer, même si j'ai couter avec attention. Bon, le concept est, comme précedemment dit, original mais je vois pas trop l'intérêt. Si vous pourriez me l'expliquer, cela pourrait peut-être me permettre de préciser mon opinion. Je pense que vous avez chercher à faire, comme le dit avec enthousiasme, aatos, faire tenir l'auditeur en haleine. Pour cela vous utiliser, les coupures, les saturations brèves, les sons d'hauteut varié...Bref, vous avez, je pense, en faisant cette musique, fixé un objectif. Celui-ci devait être de "controler" l'auditeur, de le surprendre...Je dois avouer que c'est plutôt, sur ce point, réussi. Même si je suis pas fan, ça se laisse écouter.

Recherches pianistiques originales,certes. Techniques,certes. Mais une lassitude musicale due à une certaine froideur émotionelle

je faisais une recherche dans google sur le mystere en musique, et c'est avec plaisir que je suis tombé sur cette page. je n'ai aucune reference dans la musique experimentale, mais ça me fait plaisir d'ecouter des trucs fait avec autant de liberté. je suis moins convaincu par la dernière piste, qui est à mon gout plus conventionelle. en tout cas bravo !

Just listen ... 10/10 - But One drawback: what I find strange is that Julien Beau Remix (i.e., Alter, transform and build upon) Debussy's work, and then after, Julien Beau copyleft his Remix under CC with the comment "Don't alter, transform or build upon this album". This is legal (Debussy died 90 years ago), but very strange behaviour for me. so -1/10 Anyway Julien's work is very good. And I have great pleasure to listen to it again and again Final mark 9/10 TS
