The 30-button anglo concertina played on these recordings was built by Bob Tedrow in Alabama in 2005. Tracks 8 and 15 were recorded in the summer of 2007 in Seattle by Starla. In the fall, tracks 2, 9, and 17 were recorded in the I-90 pedestrian/bike tunnel by Alex Kostelnik, who also mastered the album. In May of 2008 Alex recorded tracks 3, 10, and 16 at 2020 Cycle. Track 7 was recorded by the Ootsman at the Bainbridge Performing Arts Center in the winter of 2006. Track 11 was performed on a 20-button Stagi concertina at a fundraiser for the Bikery at Shabang in 2006, and features the voice of Davey Oil. Track 4 was recorded at the Office of Dr. Glorious, on equipment of unknown provinance
by Adam Parks, or someone he knows. Tracks 1, 5, 12, and 13 were recorded at Wall of Sound in May, 2008 (track 5 features Tom Carroll of Sugar Crash). A version of the song “The Enthusians” appeared on the album The Enthusians, released by Leaf Leaf in 2005.
