The thing with algorithmically based electronic music it tends to lack that sense of spirit which is so precious to me in musical experience, i.e. listening. Now, I can take on many different proportions of 'essentia' and it is received with the utmost perpescuity on my part, i.e. I try to be as impartial and objective as possible. However, there is inherent in every such endeavour that the subjective comes into play, so I have to insist on the epistemological excuse of it being merely what I think at that time and space, wherein I partake of the effort to listen closely. What I hear, and 'feel' to an extent, is that even being mathematically constructed, this music, and I believe it is most definitely that, has captured that essentia, that spirit of life to an extent. Now, technically that should not be possible, unless you are a believer in techgnosis, and this music should be bland and dull. But, it isn't. It has a sense of life to it, which could speak volumes. However, that brings us to the inescapable 'fact' that mainstream music survives solely on it being formulaic, i.e. susceptible to being mathematised. Certain producers have proved the point with stables of easily digestible pop, though they failed to write down the formula as such. That has been left to other, unfortunately less publicised practitioners. But, even so, having said that, this music beats it all! Perhaps the approach was different (I do not understand the preamble that comes with the album page so, I'm going it alone). Perhaps the approach was spirited in itself and that somehow magically became part of the equations. Maybe it is about assimilating that 0.000000001 part of chaotic life and all that is generated and manufactured. How does this succeed so well compared to comparable compositions, even music generated under more normal circumstances. It is very minimal, it's longform but it is far from ending up like a dull, boring drone or mindless repetitiveness. Which is all well and good when you are in the mood for it, but this music is inspirationally good. If a sum can do it, can we all? What does such a proposition hold for the future of music. Anyway, I think this is a very elegant array of musical composition. Thank you. An interesting 75:37 minutes, well spent indeed.

i dunno if you used some your original algorithm or just some commercial program with a couple of synths. My personal impression is that the idea, btw not original, is not fully developed by the actual electronic standards, very nice try tho.
