The Jonny Berliner Band formed in 2000, meeting at Leeds University where they all studied.

Consisting of Jonny Berliner (voice and guitar), Robin Grey (electric bass) and Joe Allen (Drums) they recorded five cds over five years before disbanding in 2004.

'One Night Only' was a charity concert recorded live on 1st March 2002, and saw them performing with the Leeds University Union Music Society Session Orchestra and Chorus put together by Ben Oliver with David Trasler.

The arrangements are the work of Ben Oliver, Sam Evans, Mike Young, Jay Crossland and David Lloyd-Mostyn.

Good Album, Great Vocals, Nice Music

This guy has talent, as you can tell,when you listen to this album, so don't forget he is singing live on these the tracks, so the sound quality in the background don't sound so great and is very echoing at times, nice lyrics, good music, but most of all his passion, emotions in his voice, really makes this album work. He can always record this album, in a music studio and it would sound even better.

Hasło "Prawie doskonały" pasuje tutaj jak ulał. Prawie - bo jedyne, czego mi brakuje, to dobrej jakości nagrania. Doskonały - bo w istocie jest to genialne połączenie świetnego, mocnego głosu z akompaniamentem chóru i orkiestry. Przypomina mi się Dżem w operze - to niesamowite, ile "zwykłe" utwory zyskują na współpracy z instrumentami kojarzonymi raczej z symfonią. I rzeczywiście, następuje tu symfonia, czyli współbrzmienie. Oby więcej takiej muzyki na Jamendo! Zazdroszczę uczestnikom tego koncertu, bo mogę sobie tylko wyobrazić, jaka atmosfera tam panowała. :)
