The first track makes me think of an orchestra warming up and preparing for their onslaught of passionate music and then the twisted vortex of time and space appears, as their conductor and begins to assemble them, to test their mettle. Putting them through their paces, as it were. Then there is a synchronisation that is requisite to the performance to come, i.e. the second track clicking things into place.
Ultimately, the piece delivered, its allocative form, is a fomentation of the relationship thus established by said orchestra and curiously formed conductor. The connection formed is well controlled and expressed adequately. Overall, quite a cold album, almost dispassionate especially in the final track, but enjoyable. Which I think proves the point of the place of egoism, it's under control and this is almost the opposite of that perspective.
