Lovely start to this album with Polaris, it feels very confident and self-assured, which I think is a good sign. Nice piece swith midway, with what sounded almost like cyborg vocals. Grainclouds is a peaceful piece, done well. Rise Of The Machine, start with beautiful bass and synthetic squiggles, and the track builds synthetically to a working structure. It has a nice sense to it, as in it works for me essentially, I liked the track it became. Lowest Shore is quite a chilled out little piece of work, that after a Friday night is comforting to my ears (and conscience!-). At times is sounded like an old horror film soundtrack, but a very strong ambient feel here as well. Mlac Cirtcele has a slightly unsettling atmosphere to it, but certainly not one that is unlistenable, it's far from that! It's very cool ambient electronica. Ingsoc comes at you with quite a high pitch to start, drums come in to tone it down a bit, followed by synthetic melodies and flourishes. Last, but by no means least, comes Existenzrand II. Quite dark to start and an avalanche of vocals pours out, as if it was the last opportunity to say everything at the last moment. The track underneath, supports it all well and does get a 'word' in here and there!-)
