These tracks were composed around 2000-2002, after I had left behind a pop music career (or rather, after it had left me) and in many ways the style is a reaction against the limitations of pop. So much electronic music is just 2 or 4 really cool bars of music repeated over and over with some sound effects or samples layered on top. My goal with most of these tunes was to develop a melody in an almost Classical or Baroque way against the context of electronic dance beats.
Some have characterized this music as "progressive trance" or "symphonic dance", but I have never been much at naming and classifying my own music. I like having a positive vibe to my tunes, though there are undercurrents of tension and melancholy.

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
