About this album

  • Updated: 14/10/2008

Hollus was born on July of 2005 and as was pass the third anniversary of the bands first record 'BOMBS'. Our long forgotten debut record feels more current to me than ever. When we cut the record we felt like people needed to hear it. That same sentiment echoed in out live performances for months after the record had been completed. But, for some reason the record never saw the light of a laser, save a few burned copies here and there. Maybe we really just made it for us and if so it work because this record made us a rock roll band, and it lives on to define something in us. Although if you want our opinion on what makes rock roll you just have to listen to the record. It may be to loud.

Very very talented musicians. I have seen them play once. This is a great "rock" album, with a very large blues style influence, and perfect excecution. Hollus has great, powerful vocals with original lyrics, a very talented guitar player, a drummer that could play with his eyes closed, and a bass player that could probably play any song having heard only half of it. If you are able to catch these guys live, you'll be in for a treat. If not, the CD catches the feel perfectly.

70er ROCK

Good job guys & let's go to the rock music.
