No Hysteria (1999) is a job conceived like a memory trip. Memory of the sounds and emotions. A job born by the elaboration of recordings made approximately twenty years ago found again nearly for case on old audiocassettes. Every piece represents the metings of these sounds with the sensibility puts into them of the various musicians involved. First job recorded entirely in digital, it has been possible thanks of the use of this new technologies. Every single unit of music has been assembled like puzzle with patience and a dedication, perhaps better with love. The chosen speaks have an important role for being recited as if they were embedded "incastonate" in the several pieces of music. We are very proud and satisfied for the collaboration of the several involved musicians: Nicola Alesini, Fabio Capanni, Michele Gianni, Mario Fani, Massimo, Marco Misuri, Nazar Said and Fabrizio Orrigo and for the voices of David Bindi, Thomas Kirk, Rita Lusini and Sergio Travelli. We have cured particularly the graphical part and the physical confection of the job. L' " involucro" has been realized by Ronit Dovrat with colorful handmade paper that it renders every CD a distinguibile piece. While the images have been created purposely on the base the listening of the pieces from Eva Bellavia and Cinzia Castellano. The photo has been obtained by means of simple announcement on the net thanks to the work of Alec West.

Grande musica e voce(10). "Have you other ways in your mind?" si interrompe dopo 10 secondi lasciandoci per 6:24 minuti nel completo silenzio.

Definitely a beautiful album. Captivating sounds and landscapes that open right before your eyes. The use of voice and the sax are excellent. "This is the reason" also sounds Middle Eastern which is surprising for evocative power and beauty. It's a song that embraces all humanity with the force of passion to everything (10). "Il soffio di giove"(The breath of Jupiter) is very delicate. The sax is yearning and the voice recalls atmosfere middle-eastern and vibrations of magic cultures. True culture and magic is what is lacking in modern society(10). "No hysteria" has an extraordinary fascination. The spoken-word has the amazing attraction of Timothy Leary's psychedelia. I can not understand the words even if they were Italian. I understand "Illusion" and "ship"; me enough to be caught by wonderful voice of this song and feel the life energy shake my body(10). "Spirituelle" has a curious text. Puts the emphasis on the noise of our lives. Selecting, ordering and dominating these noises we enrich the men of a new unexpected delight(9). "La vie antérieure" sounds like an awakening. A dawn for every person on earth. Great music and voice(10). "San Galgano "seems like a prayer. There's still a multi-ethnic. It says in Italian:" ghosts and shadows that follow the night, but not blind enough to withstand the weight of the stars. "The atmosphere is very attractive and understand the text is not necessary(10). "Metropole" is very special and I believe that these words are enough "the luck of the world". It's very intimate, melancholic and joyful(10). "Il cuore della terra"(The heart of the earth) is a song of friendship toward the planet. We seek refuge in the sounds of the earth .... we can recover(10). "Rund-Funk" sounds cyber, then become a flowing melody(9). "Have you other ways in your mind?" stops after 10 seconds leaving for 6:24 minute in complete silence. It's the answer to all our questions.
This is the reason... true beauty in musical/vocal format. A lovely track. And, this is the reason and I'll keep saying it. It's what I am looking for, which undermines the essence of creating a theory of music. Have you ever looked at a simple word for a long time until it seems to longer make any sense? That's my reason and this is the reason.
At this point Winamp crashed, as it tried to start Il soffio di giove. Entroyable! Luckily, JamPlayer works and saves me from losing access. A magnificently soft piece of music, full of the spirit of nature, that drives us onwards. A subtle melodiousness, and a play on birdsong. Deeply moving. Moving deeply. No hysteria, is exquisite and appropriately calm, we do not need it, but we need theoria. And it links in nicely with the following track for me conceptually, Spirituelle. There is heart and soul in here as well.
La vie anterierure, I'm guessing is about reflection and looking inside or behind yourself, but my linguistic capability frustrates me as to the lyrical elucidation. I can only feel this music and make the odd wild conjecture. Reminds me of Sow somewhat. The following track San Galgano again presents me, as most of this album will, with the curse of the Tower of Babel. It seems to continue the spirit of the works so far, without being tedious and simply repetitive, there is something I can sense I am sure of that. Maybe I hear too much between the lines, but I love its atmosphere and blending of sound sources.
Metropole, I expected to be busier and in a sense it is literally as it develops, thwarting me with that barrier again, but a beautifully constructed piece of work. Is it about urbanity? I can only estimate from a tenuous grip at the roots of words and enjoy the lovely music. Il cuore della terra has a profound earthiness to it, with deep resonations from the centre of our suffering planet. Gaia spins through her elliptical orbit with profoundly suppressed anguish at her heart. What other way is there?
Now, Rund-Funk means 'radio'. I still remember that mast in München, paradoxically in English text and speaking. However, I will agree that things are noisier and the airwaves more busy, but that's due to technology and a confusing overabundance of information and data, that forgets to develop through knowledge into wisdom. Ancient humankind had and created its own noises, none of which we can but guess at from what little artifacts we can uncover and decipher. Something about it that makes me think I am listening to Dead Can Dance. Lovely track.
The final track, kind of brings me full circle: Have you other ways in your mind? I do, and I know I'm not the only one to feel this way. (Now even Jamplayer won't work! Frustration at every step, which is a sign for my delicate sensibilities.) Either way I try it is a track of silence and that, for me speaks volumes. THIS IS THE REASON!
...."Blade Runner" runs again. I love the film "Blade Runner", i love the soundtrack of this film and now i love this album! A fascinating voyage in another world, a world of musician dreams. Another science fiction story for a better future starts in my head by listening this unique soundtrack. The Saxophone-sounds are great!
thanks a lot

Very interesting climates. Sometimes I felt like I'm on a desert. I can hear there many influences closed in a really original musical body. And the saxophone - lovely sounds! Great ambient music, I'm sure that I'll come back to this album. Thank you.
