Live-HAT: Music performed by Asagao Hat
Note:
Asagao Hat was born in 1978, Tokyo, Japan, and now resides in Hyogo with his wife. He first played in a group, but soon started his "one-man band" style, where he plays his el-ac guitar with various gadgets and effectors like BOSS SP-303, and a smiling small portable foot-drum (as seen on this album jacket).
The album "Live-HAT" was recorded in fall of 2002, in his two live acts, by Nankado. Recording equipments were PowerBookG3 500Mhz, Cubase VST 5, MOTU 828 FireWire audio I/F, and recording sources were taken directly from the board. Tracks were mixed and added effects and samples by nankado. First published in a CD-R under Nankado's private label, with a catalogue number NK-03, in a very limited number and soon deleted. This version on Jamendo has some additional minor treatments on the sound by Nankado.
His musical style in this album was something like aggressive, or to be described as "constructive destruction" like Captain Beefheart's music. Somewhat bluesy feeling mixed with noisy sound effects, forming rather a sensitive body of the music.

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
