Industrial trip-hop. Dirge and malfunction.
Almost a solo album, "forwards" is a reactionary document of Scott DeathBoy's emotional state post End of an Error, with sparse mention of the words of Scott's best friend and long-time band-member 'the Phil', and representing the typical DeathBoy line-up only in the shape of Adam Gelman's basslines.
The album maintains a low and grimy profile, filling space with glitching over-production breaks and brooding, down-tempo numbers that crawl and glisten as Scott plays with many-tracked vocal production and tense, gripping lyrics.
Forwards has long been slated for a commercial release, after fan reaction to its mp3 release, with tracks working themselves into live sets, remixes and compilation albums, but has so far remained under the radar of the mainstream.
A dark, textured, crawling thing, these tracks adhere to the underside of your collection, clicking and twitching and insistent after others wash away.

Please stay courteous and be sincere (for good and bad!). It can be an interesting read for others, but only if it is constructive and doesn't disparage the artist.
Please write about the music itself and don't be too hard on the sound quality of some demos.
