I find this album to be very cool. Sure, it is not recommendable for the average pop music listener. No 8-bit music is. And in addition, this is not even much melodical. So the audience these days will certainly be quite limited for this album. But I appreciate very much its playful character. And the shortness, too, so it doesn't become too annoying, like some noise albums tend to be. All in all, it is a very good playful minimalistic 8-bit noise album. If you liked 1999 Nintendo Teenage Robots' (Alec Empire) album We Punk Einheit!, you will very probably like this, too.

Too much and not enough.

The result of this album is definitely glitchy, laden with what is distinctively GameBoy noises. And not much else. The songs, probably intentionally, are very short, and seem like an empty random sound byte. There is no percussion, but this is probably to draw attention to the synth. This is indeed avant garde, however, the day that many people listen to enjoy this may never come. I wish the best for the artist(s) and that he/she/they might build upon what could be an inspiring genre.
