About this album

  • Updated: 03/12/2008

A befitting conclusion to the 'quiet trilogy' (quiet ep, quieter ep) and presenting 'the quietest ep'. Take 20 minutes to put your feet up and relax to this collection of piano and orchestral ambience.

Drift off into a world of relaxation, feel your emotions, come alive as you listen and enjoy the tracks from this outstanding album, done by someone who has true talent. Feel your emotions and senses come alive as you, serender to the music and feel!

Again, a proof that the job isn't being done by the tool(s) that are used but by the wielder of that tool, music is achieved in an artistic sense, only when it comes from the heart. Here we are away from the lure of digital creation to analogue, back to roots in a way. To be the sincere expression of the truth of life as we know it, this little collection is enough to give you a bit of faith for a good world. Nicely done!)

Anti-tension is also a form of musical tension. It also ingenious to produce more by producing less. Here is wondrous beauty waiting for you, to spin you off into your theta zone. Thanks Frank Harper for posting comment on this, which led me here via jamendo surfing.

This whole album, twentyone minutes, was so exquisite and relaxing, beautiful, and rich with flowing notes, layers, and a marvelous melody. The music is good medicine and relaxes the tensions of the weary soul. I especially loved the mysterious "everything will be ok" which reminded me of sloppy walks through streams during hikes in the silent forests around my home. I also really liked "Sun Shining in my Window" which had a gentle upbeat nature, kind of like the dust motes which drift and dance in the rays of the sun. I must say, however, that I got enormously sleepy while listening to this music, so it should come with a warning: "Do not drive or use heavy machinery while on this medication." There was a bad spot in the last track when all sound cut out (I listened to it several times) but that is my only complaint.

A short but really nice album, a mixture of synth and piano lines, tender hints of trance... weaving a comfortable musical pillow to rest your body and mind.
