Retrosonique is the 3rd full length Umbriel Rising album, clocking in at a shade under 48 minutes, it is a mature, eclectic mix of electronica, electro and is not ashamed to show it’s early 80’s synthpop influences, although it continues to draw from several genres and is not specifically designed as an early synth pioneer tribute album in the way that the Kaleidoscope Skies EP was.
This album lies somewhere between the mayhem of #1 "Extraterrestres" (some gems, but too much of a desire to put all eggs in one basket) and #2 "Wunda" (complex but better flowing album). Umbriel Rising regard it as their best balanced musical accomplishment to date and are very proud of this record.

Good work by Umbriel Rising.
A must for fans of retro friendly synthesizer music.
Arrangements, the choice of synths sounds is very well done and top played!
I personally would have been more heat into the rhythms laid.
But this is always a question of taste.
What I like especially on this album is the own style.
I have no specific favorites all the tracks please me very well,
maybe (visions in magenta) this stings a little more apparent for me.
Cheers

With original music and personal style. Very well done umbriel.
Greetings J. Blasco.
Thanks for the recommendation Rogers
Not too sure about this. There are some nice moments but I'm not too keen on the 70's synth sounds.
A fine, light style to start. I think I must have been busy losing my mind during the eighties, or at least listening to other stuff. However to be fair there are elements where I think things sound familiar. Like in Prophet Jupiter VIII. Couldn't say what exactly. Maybe I was going retro then. Which would be retro-retro, and so on. The third track sounds more like what I was partly listening to through the purple haze. Wasteland Chase would sum things up fairly well for me, nice dynamism. Overall, all the eggs have gone into this particular basket and one egg is pretty much the same as another. Nice enough to go 'retrosonique', and it captures the 80s well, from what I can remember. Some good combinations and fusion. Worth a listen.
Electronic music makes me always like it , because it can make you feel the harmony of time and let you feel a good vibrations , Really a good performance for me ,
thanks CJ Rogers
I really enjoyed the synth sounds because they sound to me like Kraftwerk (from Germany)and I guess the Umbriel Rising`s school is almost the same from them (I think the fountain`s water has the same taste). Thanks!
When listening I feel as if I am in the comfortably tied shoes of the child I once was; daydreaming and enjoying adolescence. This music is a mixture of the more colorful and exciting times of life. I feel a great sense of freedom to simply experience, dream and create freely. I am happy to exist at this moment.
In other words, I love this music. This is really good stuff!

Polecam fanom elektroniki.
