My biggest bugbear about modern music in the UK and US is that it it is so f**king pidgeonholed- you have to look like this, and sing like that..... That's one of the things that attracted me to this site, as I believe musicians should be themselves, and a band should sound like a band not a genre... This, as the description suggests mixes punk, folk, jazz and blues. I can't comment on the lyrics speaking very little German. The melodies are distinct yet classic at the same time- not the best but better than the vast majority. The only real issue with this is the lack of bass guitar (or keyboard equivilent) , or the inability to hear it in the mix (I'm using a top flight sound system to listen to this on) - I think a double bass or the bottom end of a piano, used sparingly would improve the sound mix no end. Still, a good all round effort all the same.

Die Lieder in diesem Album sind engagiert getextet und vorgetragen -- eine Bereicherung. Musikalisch würde ich mir allerdings noch etwas mehr Rafinesse wünschen, insbesondere kunstvollere Gitarrensätze und vielleicht eine größere Spannweite in den Arrangements. Derzeit klingen die Stücke allzu gleich.

This guys strong, Germany voice. Just made me instantly smile and feel great and just bask inside his glorious joyous, uplifting voice. And sent great rays of sunshine within my heart and soul on hearing him sing. With such passion, enthusiasm, love and good feelings. The more I listened, the more I felt good. The music was spirited and wholesome and raw. And a great album. To simply enjoy and be entertained by.

Ach, da kommen doch die guten " alten Zeiten " ins Hirn. Diese Musik hat Straßenaufruhr. Kommt runter, wehrt euch ... aber keine Gewalt! Da klingen viele Bands, nein, ich will den Künstlern kein Plagiat unterschieben... und doch: Karat, Wader, Degenhardt... die ganze sentimentale Welt des Widerstandes kommt hier sehr musikalisch an. Ja, die Welt hat sich gedreht. Und wer erntet " Die Früchte des Zorns?" Musik zum Zuhören. Manchmal ist der schmerzliche Gesang am Hang der Schmerzlichkeit. Oder nur einfach zu laut? Auf alle Fälle eine sehr gute CD. Musikalisch durchdacht und praktiziert... die Texte nicht ohne Kritik. Und genau das ist das Motto: " In meinem Kopf ist ein Bombe" - die Texte sind zumindest ein Hauch einer Granate. Gut, Gut!

If I'm being honest, I'd say that I really like this album. It makes me want to learn German so I can understand what these people are saying. They do have a lack of bass but the violin totally makes up for it. I'd listen to this if it was on the German radio while I was visiting Germany.

Wie ewig auf ich auf diesen Moment gewartet habe! Ich liebe eure Musik und dass seit mehr als 2 Jahren! Ihr seid einfach nur klasse. Ob "In meinem Kopf ist eine Bombe", "Tief in Eurem Nacken" oder "Das macht Ihr nich kaputt", ich liebe diese Musik einfach nur!

Ein dickes Lob für eure Musik. Sie ist zugegeben für meine Ohren ein wenig gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber die Texte sind super. Ich werde auf jeden Fall den einen oder anderen Titel in meiner Radiosendung verwenden und hoffe, dass ihr dadurch noch viel bekannter werdet. Weiter so :-)
