PATROUX's music is amazing. He is able to capture the very essence of energy and turn it into some of the most compelling music I have ever heard. Each composition portrays feeling, depth and spirit. Not since Tangerine Dream has anyone produced such soul gripping music. His new album Music is Magic has just been released and it was well worth the wait. I highly recommend his work.

the ambience is really nice and highly vibrating, inna ange l like dream,full of light thanks because i feel a deep positif effect on the listener I regret the use of the "lead" instruments, which is done with no musical value. a little flatness in the overall.

Newage, ambient, cosmic, chill out, zen like music, that has that amazing ability to make you feel as if you are surrounded by the wonderment, beauty, awe and amazement of this fantastic beautiful music. Lift your heart,your soul, your body and mind all in one.

Patroux's 2008 collection, Music is Magic, starts off with two solid but not fantastic tunes. It is at the third song, Le Cheval De Fer, that the album takes off. Speech, the fourth song, is pulsating and inventive. Lullaby for Santa, the fifth tune, is sweet and contemplative. The midtempo title track is light, airy, and enjoyable. The next two tracks, Soul of Peace and Melody of Time, conclude an unbroken streak of exceptional tunes. Both are pleasant and upbeat. The final track, La Balade Des Fees Clochettes, is also a worthwhile listen. All in all, Music is Magic is a great album that captures Patroux at the top of his craft: inventive, complex, and mature. I think this album will be enjoyed by anyone who listens to it.
