About this album

  • Updated: 31/01/2007
The world looks so barren and gray in the winter, sometimes it feels the same way within our soul, but there is hope. There is an opportunity to see the the beauty within the emptiness and purpose within our own loneliness. This music is unconsciously about this experience. contact: paulshuler@gmail.com

Eine schöne Musik um sich eine entspannte Atmosphäre zu schaffen. Es handelt sich definitiv nicht um eine Party-Musik. Um sie geniessen zu können bedarf es dem richtigen Ambiente.

Well, I think I'll just repeat more or less what I already wrote in my review of the first album by Macroform. This record is full of fantastic downtempo tunes. Sometimes a little experimental, but still smooth - no hardcore here. Technically, it's a crossover of electronica and acoustic rock. Great catchy melodies, nice soothing atmosphere, fine use of real instruments. Never boring, like so many bad "atmospheric" productions. Just a pure feast for yer ears. Simon says: Check it out now! The highlights: 1 Forgiven 3 My ankles Hurt 6 Space Ship 8 Can you make me better? P.S. Why not 10? 10 is given too often on Jamendo. Note that good albums start at 7... What's use for rating if every album gets 10?

Down there with it, without getting dirty, and within the realms of unconscious computation. Good withal! There is indeed a trick to being all one with solitude.
