About this album

  • Updated: 09/01/2009

"The Awakening" is the first EP by Ever-Frost.

It was recorded, mixed and mastered at Inferno Studio in Modena by Dani,in four days between the months October and December.

The artwork of the album was made by Jacque Gates. You'll find more of her works on http://www.flickr.com/people/howling-at-the-moon/

The album contains four songs, hard to describe due to many musical influences brought in the band by the four members. You can hear a bit of Opeth,Dream Theater,Dark Tranquillity,At The Gates and many more, all in one, mixed in an original death style, for twenty minutes of pure metal,

My hackles always go up when a group compares their sound to The Metal gods. In this case I agree! They do remind me of the above mentioned ,especially of "At the Gates". Great vocals, killer guitar work and the drummer is a Manic. I Do want to hear more from this group and I mean MUCH more.

Bonne continuation.

Outstanding, fantastic, electronic guitarist and a excellent drummer who really kick ass on this mini ep. They have purem honestm talent these guys. The singer has a powerful, dramatic, energetic voice to cope with this type of music and album. Good solid lyrics and excellent tracks. This is one brilliant mini ep.
