Estoy completamente anonadado con el álbum. Es brutal, con un ritmo infernal. Especialmente me encanta el último tema.

About this album
Retrigger has been a mate with the schizosonics for years, since he first caught our attention on his productions; which get even more intense when played live [if you ever watched it, you know what we're talkin' about).
The main brazilian producer of "extreme" and experimental breakbeats [the term "breakcore" isn't enough anymore], Raul Costa brought a different swing to the style, impregnating it on "exotic" references: dialogues from b movies and cartoons, timbres of 80s videogames, rockabilly, surf music, mash-ups, ska, ragga, dub and lounge; etc.
"Jeanie and Caroline" is the "empowered" new edition of an album originally launched in 2007. Once defined by a fan as "Breakcore you could play to your mom", the material is so versatile that we believe it to please the rock musicians, punks, experimentalistas, up-to-date crew, ravers; strengthening the idea of Psicotropicodelia in always going for diverse creativity.
A new artwork was created for this item, made by designer Flávio Lazarino, using an old 60s photo as main resource, reinforcing the retro-futuristic inspiration and the two "characters" from the album's title.

Retrigger é parceiro dos esquizosônicos há anos, desde que nos chamou a atenção com suas produções; que ficam ainda mais intensas quando apresentadas ao vivo, quem assistiu sabe do que falamos.
O principal produtor brasileiro de breakbeats "extremos" e experimentais [o termo "breakcore" unicamente já não referencia toda a gama sonora do projeto] brasileiro, Raul Costa trouxe um swing diferente ao estilo, pouco a pouco impregnando de referências "exóticas": diálogos de filmes b e desenhos animados, timbres de videogame anos 80, rockabilly, surf music, mash-ups, ska, ragga, dub e lounge; só pra citar algumas.
"Jeanie and Caroline" é a reedição "aditivada" de um álbum originalmente lançado em 2007 [até a arte foi refeita!]. Uma vez definido por um fã como "Breakcore que até a sua mãe vai apreciar", o material é tão versátil e festivo, que acreditamos agradar a roqueiros, punks, experimentalistas, mudernos; reforçando a vontade da Psicotropicodelia em apostar sempre em diversa criatividade.
A arte gráfica foi refeita para este relançamento, cortesia do designer nietroiense Flávio Lazarino, a partir de uma foto original antiga, reforçando a inspiração retro-futurista e as duas "personagens" que dão título ao álbum.

"Oi. Meu nome é Raul, algumas pessoas me conhecem como Retrigger. Eu faço música tem quase 10 anos e assino como Retrigger há 8.
Esta é a versão definitiva do disco mais importante que já fiz até hoje, o "Jeanie and Caroline". Além das faixas originais, colocamos mais alguns bônus, um vídeo clip e a gravação de um liveset feito no início de 2008.
Desde que comecei a estragar os ouvidos alheios com o meu computador, muita coisa aconteceu, conheci muita gente e toquei em várias cidades e países, nem sempre com a melhor música que eu podia fazer. Felizmente, com alguma bagagem (e idade) eu consegui por minhas idéias no lugar e fazer esse disco, que pra mim vai ser pra sempre importante, por me colocar na direção que eu sempre quis, que é sempre fazer música inventiva, forte e ao mesmo tempo divertida.
Espero que se divirtam como eu me diverti fazendo e ainda me divirto tocando."

C'est trop bon ! Un mélange incroyable de son et de styles tout au long de l'album! On ne s'attend pas a autant de couleurs quand on commence la lecture.
